Wireless Logger Collector Privacy Policy

1. Definition

This Application Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) defines how the information of the user of this application (“User Information”) and the permissions defined in the paragraph 3 (“Permission”) are handled by services (“the Services”) provided by Wireless Logger Collector (“the Application”), a smartphone and tablet application provided by HIOKI E.E. CORPORATION.

2. (Items of User Information, how to obtain, purposes of use)

Notwithstanding the definition in the paragraph 1, since neither the Application nor the Service obtains User Information, this paragraph is not applicable for the User Information.

3. Permissions and purpose of use

The Application asks for permission to use the following device functionality for the indicated purposes:

(1) BLUETOOTH (use of paired Bluetooth devices)
This permission is used by the Application to communicate with HIOKI measuring instruments that are equipped with Bluetooth functionality.

(2) BLUETOOTH_ADMIN (Bluetooth device discovery and pairing)
This permission is used by the Application to discover and pair with HIOKI measuring instruments that are equipped with Bluetooth functionality.

(3) ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION (access to coarse location information)
This application allows access to rough location information in order to use Bluetooth functionality. This application does not use location information.

(4) WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (write access to external storage)
This permission is used while the Application is running by functionality that allows the user to export measurement files to the handset’s internal storage or an SD card.

5. Method of user participation

User participation in information used by the Service
To stop using the Application, uninstall the Application. All information stored internally on the handset will be deleted. If you have used the export function to save data elsewhere, delete those files manually.

The Application does not display advertisements.
